Learn to make your own latex clothes.
In this class you will learn the basics of cutting and gluing, do small repairs, make different types of frills and pleats, embellish an item with trim. You will get the chance to make a few latex items to add to your wardrobe in a variety of colours.
You can learn to make some basic garments. We start the latex workshop with cutting, making frills and making a basic skirt (figure hugging or a-line) or a vest or a sleeveless T-shirt. After a 30 minute break we make something more challenging a halter neck top (there are two models to choose between) or a pair of shorts (fitted or loose). The patterns are made in such a way that you will be able to join the top to the skirt so you can make up a dress at home.
When you attend this course you will receive patterns for the items you make in your size, 2 gel pens, set of spatula to apply glue, a pleat template and references.
All materials and tools will be provided. But feel free to bring your own.
You will get the opportunity to buy everything you need to continue at home.
This course will start at 10am and finish 5pm. You can bring your own lunch or go to the local coffee shop for a snack. A range of refreshments will be provided.
